Saturday, August 5 is the annual picnic and organization, planning and preparation are well under way. It promises to be as good as ever with plenty of activities for all ages. If you have never participated as a volunteer and would like to take on a small job, it’s a great way to have fun and get to know others on the lake.
Setup, breakfast and lunch cooks, volleyball, races for young and old, horse shoes, kids station, silent auction, photography/reporting, cleanup… As with every year, we are always looking for volunteers to help with the various events.
We are also looking for silent auction donations for our picnic. The funds that cover our picnic expenses come from the revenue generated by the auction.
Please be aware that at the picnic we have limited change. Small bills and correct change is much appreciated. Save your big bills for the auction and the Puff Fire Hall “Fill the Boot”.
The annual Poker Derby is in September and we still need a new convenor to run it.
