We are seeing less open water in the N end, although towards Campbell
point we are still open in the main body of the lake. The web cam
clearly shows the open water out in the main body of the lake.
Yesterday the shore ice was good enough to go out and sink my chains
float under the ice. The ice was 2 inches thick and this is 20-25 feet
from shore. Lots of NW wind again today.
