This morning is the first time to see ice in the north lake. We had ice around the dock storage area in Jack fish bay with a very narrow ribbon about 320 feet from shore stretching just past my humble abode. Some rotten looking shoreline ice as well right along the rocks. In Jeffs bay at the light house it was about 25% covered. Along the north shore, at the camp building, ice extending out from shore about ten feet. Nothing of note on the East side. Then a gentle breeze started and it was all gone. This is 14 days later than last year. At least this is a start. I have been watching u-tube videos showing snowmobiles zooming across water. Interesting, but usually ends badly. Skandic; Yellow Submarine……….all together now………
