Bobby reported yesterday he has 3 inches of ice in the first 15 feet
from shore then the thickness decreased to 1 1/2 soon after. On the N
side of the narrows, the bay is frozen from the beach across to the
“bald” rock N of Ransoms. This area seems to have held. The rest of
the N lake is wide open, the wind has taken its toll. Water
temperature, at the end of my drawbridge, 16 feet out, registered at 34
degrees F. Environment Canada is forecasting + daytime temps for the
next 4 days starting tomorrow, so I’m not getting excited……..
