Heather sends us pictures from the ridge behind Hornsbys. With today's warm temperatures and strong SSE winds we have lost any ice we made over the last two nights. Campbells Point retirement home reports the lake has reopened E of the point from Hornsbys across to the E shore and south including the channel on the east side of the island. This extends to the main part of the lake which has opened again to the W shore from just N of the narrows to a line from Campbells point across to Hes camp. Up my way it appears the new ice pan is piling on the leading edge of the older formed ice.
