After yesterdays winds the open water around Memorial island expanded to about five times the size.  The overnight temps were very mild and today as well.  Today we have a NE wind so nothing much has happened.  Ice at my place is about 1.5 inches thick at 16 feet from shore.  (at the end of my ramp)  The lake would be good for skating if it thickens up and remains free of snow.
