At least I got the month right today. SW winds again. Campbells Point retirement home reports we had ice between the big island E side in the N lake and the shore first thing this morning, then the wind broke it up and mostly erased the shore ice on the E side mainland that had formed. He also reports ice piling on the point that is about 4 inches thick that he figures blew north from the narrows. In the N lake the open water has grown from about Kubaneks yesterday to Mahoneys today. Our ice margin on the W side seems to be holding but certainly hasn't increased.
