This morning the N end doesn’t show any change from the view from our
dock. Using the meat thermometer, I got a water surface temperature of
38 degrees at the end of my drawbridge. Campbells point reports
possible minor shore ice way over on the E side, nothing definitive. S
lake report indicates the shore ice near the narrows is gone but the
shore ice E of his place is about 18 feet out and it appears the E
channel past the big island may be closed by ice. The first bay past
the narrows, Zaporzan, Turner area appears to be frozen. Winds again
today so all this may vary.
