The first fall report, after a fantastic fall it looks like winter is
coming. The lake level has dropped to a tolerable fall level, finally.
the minor snow we got the other day is mostly gone, however, this
appears to be changing. Kenora has a snow fall warning with high winds
and up to about 6 inches of snow and temperatures into -double digits
overnight. The decision was made to pull the boat and dock in
anticipation of this, so we are off the water as well as Campbells point
and our ice watcher in the S lake. There are no signs of ice yet, but
the temperatures for the next week will certainly help. Lets see if we
get this storm. Stay tuned………….
