We woke up this morning to our first significant shore ice. The ice extends 10 feet off the end of the dock for a approximate total of 46 some feet. This varies both N and S along the west shore that we can see. The ice is very wet looking and thin and is expected to be gone with any wind. The Environment Canada weather forecast is extremely positive with + temperatures this week, so conditions shouldn't change too much. However all bets are off when any minus temps return and when the wind quits we will freeze.
