There has been noticeable changes in the ice surface yesterday into
today. It appears the snow cover has mostly melted. The margin hasn’t
gotten bigger, and what is deceiving is there is still ice close to the
shore line hidden under the water. Lowering my drawbridge the ice is
still supporting the weight of the dock. One positive sign is the
chains float has popped through the ice at my place. You can see from
the webcam the noticeable change in colour on the lake, but, don’t be
deceived, that is still ice out there.
