As of last evening the S lake appears to be open, although, there could
very well be ice in the extreme S end of the S lake after the ENE wind
we had all day. This morning after conferring with Campbells point
retirement home and Bobby, Bradleys bay is open, the N side of the
narrows is plugged solid with ice with the continuing ENE wind. The E
channel of the big island in the N lake appears plugged and the main
body of the lake is ice covered to just S of Memorial island. Copelands
bay is closed as well towards the narrows. The ice pan is fairly easy
to see on the web cam. Expect additional posts today as conditions
change, or if I receive any reports from around the lake………stay
tuned…….
