March 31

This morning the lake was smooth then by noon we have had ice ridges forming and the ice curling and tenting along the shoreline.  We have a ridge across Jackfish bay (picture) and the other pic shows a fairly large ridge which extends from around Jones and snakes across towards Avery's and is quite prominent.  Campbells Point retirement home reports a couple of large ridges across Bradleys, which have grown larger during the day.  Bobby reports he has a margin along his shore from the narrows to past his place about 12 feet wide.  One more cold night then we are heading for double digit temperatures for the Easter weekend.
