The ice is expanding when the temperatures drops to freezing overnight crushing the edge up against the shore. Some cracks out on the lake are throwing shadows so I think that is an uneven surface, pressure ridge, small but noticeable. Over in the bay by Cindy's there is a pressure ridge/crack extending from the middle of the bay SE to the point in front of Cindy's.
