Ice or lack of Nov. 13

We will start this report saying the ice formation is totally unpredictable at this time and conditions can change with a whim. This week has seen changes in our ice formation or non formation. Last Tuesday ice had formed at the main landing out about 200 feet and as reported by Patrick in other shore locations. Yesterday afternoon evil Clay took a drive to the landing and the ice is gone again due to (probably) the north west wind we have had. There is ice in the more sheltered bays. Indian Bay had ice around the shoreline out about 70 feet the other day and yesterday had cleared again. Here at my place we have had morning ice which breaks back to shore with the winds. As with other years, all it is going to take is a break in the wind for a night and the ice will come. nice Clay
