As is obvious we still have a sizable ice pack. On my shore we have about a 15 ft open margin. I think what has been helpful is the water level is up about 8 inches from the runoff. Over at the station, the bay around the dock storage is mostly open. Arnolds report the ice has just pulled away from their shoreline. Al Campbell reports the ice is away from the shore all around the point. Lloyd Hornsby flew over last weekend and noted the south lake was still covered with only a margin along the shorelines. At this time there has been no evidence of the pack drifting or moving. Lets hope the rain and upcoming warm weather speeds things.
