Another update: The detect-o-deer was rescued this morning by a professional team after another successful deployment this spring. Note the waters are hazardous, do not attempt this on your own.
Update: Its confirmed from the field and the lab. The ice is moving! Latest reading from the detect-o-deer indicates movement of a whopping +18.4 on the REICHERT Scale. Within days the reading will be off-scale… or the detect-o-deer will be swimming.
