Snow cover on the lake is hanging in.  The spruce bows that were covered have reappeared as the snow diminishes.  Some of the reflective markers have that lazy spring lean to them.  Morning conditions have been crusty, then with the temperatures rising during the day, the base is wet and tends to feel heavy.  On the trail to Otter lake, the mud is starting to show in spots.
