Sank the chains float this morning, chopping the ice around the float
and shoving it under. Easy chop, ice at the float is 2 3/4 inches.
This area is about 40 feet from shore. We now have 4-5 inches of fresh
snow on the ice and patches of slush can be seen out on the main body of
