Checked out the ice today down the W side. We found a range of 4-5 1/2 inches decreasing to 3 inches at diving rock. We were staying close to the shoreline. E Clay went up the edge of Copelands towards the narrows and found a lot of 4 inch depth of ice. Now we are heading into forecast warm temperatures. Considering we had 4 inches in our bay the other day after 7-8 days doesn't really inspire confidence in the ice formation for safe travel.
