Took a walk as far as Bestlands today. What we found was 3 inches of
good blue ice along a route which would be the W trail to my dock.
There is a lot of cracks which gives us some minor slushy areas. This
is also putting a layer of slush ice on top of the blue ice 1 inch to 2
inches in places which gave us some 4-5 inch ice thicknesses, however,
keep in mind slush ice has about 50% of the strength of blue ice.
