Has been a couple of days of nothing to report. The biggest change we have is 4 inches of wet snow on the existing ice around us. Yesterdays warm weather had our indwelling electric ice auger pop up like a spring event and had to be weighted down again. Drilled out from our dock and found the same or less ice thickness at around 3 1/2 inches. The area on the E side is still open from Mazurs N. Anticipate checking Jackfish bay to the Marsden point Saturday if we can negotiate an opening in the social calendar. With the central part of the lake still open and the obvious loss of ice in Bradleys bay, as seen on the other webcam, we will be a while yet. At least the forecast looks promising with the colder temps.
