From one extreme to the other. The slush is gone with the cold weather but now we have ice. Where there was slush we now have frozen ruts where machines have passed. This is especially bad at the approach at the station landing. We have a hard crust with patches of ice, very little snow. My opinion only, there is barely enough loose snow for the sliders. We have been picking and choosing the path across the lake to take advantage of any good looking areas to cross. And of course this also leads to a lack of snow to place any markers, so other than the narrows crossing, THERE ARE NO MARKERS ON THE LAKE. We have a forecast of snow later in the week, albeit in the lower percentages but any little bit will help. If I get down to the south lake I’ll send additional info.
