Some pictures of the narrows, open water area and reaching quite a ways out. The 3rd caught the Christmas trolls erecting the tree. As can be be seen are the quads, I was on the Skandic. The route from the landing to the narrows follows the E shore. From the N side of the narrows , closer to Butch's dock to the first point, hard left towards the rock face S of Ransom's and follow the shoreline N. If going to Copelands, follow the shore till well into Copelands. Not a lot of snow. Ice is never 100% safe, and thickness can vary.
