We have a good snow cover on the lake after the weekend snowfall and the
snow we got yesterday into today. At our place, the indwelling electric
ice auger has popped up, released by the ice last Thursday but froze
back in.  We have some heaving of the ice at our approach and dock.   At
the narrows, the puddles are showing on both the N and S sides, and at
the landing there is a puddle forming out from the boat launch and there
is a rut in the ice from the run-off down the boat launch.  The road is
quite clear, with the worst being the curve by the gravel pit entrance
just W of Trappers.  The road is soft, depending on temperature and
showing signs of ruts in places.  Road restrictions are in effect.
