South lake is reported to be mostly clear++. There is still ice around Hamilton beach to Pratts island. The N lake is still mostly covered. Jackfish bay is ice free on a line from Owens to Marsden point. S of Marsden point we have a margin of about 20ft. which chokes off at Millers. The N end of the lake has really opened today as can be seen on the web cam. The Detect-0-tripod has succumbed to the icy depths. This afternoon we had some piling on our shore as parts of the pan have moved with the NE wind. The main part of the ice pan still appears to be attached to the E shore.
