April 26th, Swan on the ice

And took a trip to the landing via the W trail on the quads. Fairly
uneventful, a few of the usual muddy holes, passable, but I suspect
there is still frost in the ground and conditions could get worse.
Coming back, one of the brave crew took the alternate route via mile
marker 28. 75 approximately, and reported a better trail while the other
two went back on the W trail. We met at the hydro lines within a couple
of minutes of each other. In the time we were away the lake ice changed
from white to shades of black. Tonight we have a steady light rain.
