The margin along the shore has started. Along our shore, the margin is a pitiful 2-3 inches. Around Campbells point on Bradley bay side it is larger but not profound. South lake reports about 6-8 inches. At 0630 after a -8C night the edges refroze but as temperatures increase it opens up again. Lots of booming this morning and it looked interesting to see the water spurt out on the shoreline rocks with the louder booms. Temperatures are finally looking warmer this week. Did a quad ride to the landing and can report the trail through White siding is passable. Did the trail up the west side to the Rice intersection 2 days ago and the mud is starting in the usual wet areas as the ground thaws. The winch was a friend on one occasion.
