From my dock, coffee in hand it appears the north end is 60% open, keep in mind the ice is still out there and the wind will be the determining factor. There still appears to be ice over by the east shore and at the station area. The pan can be seen extending from Marsden point towards Campbells point and south from there. The extent of my sight line. Last evening report from the south lake is that it is basically open. Butch went boating around the south big island and went to the landing. Ice apparently is still seen down by Pratts island. Coming back through the narrows he had to break ice to get into the north lake. Our intrepid Detect-o-deer went from on camera to in front of the camp building. Stay tuned, as the lake wakes up we will get more info………
As usual, great ice reporting Clay, much appreciated.
